Pavi Jain is a Counsel at Khaitan & Co, one of India’s premier law firms, where she specializes in advising clients on M&A and Private Equity transactions. In addition to her core expertise, Pavi co-leads the firm’s ESG Practice Group, offering comprehensive guidance on environmental, social, and governance matters.

Pavi’s ESG advisory services span from conducting assessments to providing full lifecycle support and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. She maintains a strong relationship with the Blackstone Group, a key repeat client, and works closely with major multinational corporations and conglomerates such as Reliance Group, RPG Group, Micron Technology, and PingSafe on cross-border transactions.

In addition to her role at Khaitan & Co, Pavi serves as the Vice Chair of the IPBA ESG Committee and the Asia Chair for the ESG Committee of the Meritas group of law firms. She was honored as the “Star Woman Lawyer of the Year” in 2024 by Legal Era.

Pavi is also a thought leader in her field, having authored the prestigious Oxford Net Zero Policy Monitor, which was presented to the United Nations Secretary-General at COP29 in Baku. With a robust track record in multi-jurisdictional deals, Pavi has represented clients in several high-profile, large-scale cross-border transactions.
