Steven was called to the Malaysian Bar and is a highly experienced litigator specialising in insurance and takaful law, reinsurance/retakaful and subrogation recovery work. With a career spanning over two decades, Steven has held roles in both legal practice and corporate legal management whilst working for a public listed Malaysian company. His experience includes defending insurers and takaful operators in various classes of risk claims, advising on insurance products, and overseeing recovery operations. Steven is also an active contributor to the legal community as Vice Chair of the Insurance Committee for the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) and has provided training and talks to insurance & takaful companies and the National Insurance Claims Society (NICS), Malaysia.
