Raj Bhala is the Brenneisen Distinguished Professorship at the University of Kansas Law School. He has taught around the world, is a Fulbright Specialist, and Member of the State Department’s Speaker Program.  Ingram’s Business Magazine designated Raj as one of “50 Kansans You Should Know,” and he is “Wikified.”

Raj practiced international banking law at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he twice won the President’s Award for Excellence for his service as a US delegate to UNCITRAL.

A Harvard Law School graduate, Raj completed Master’s degrees at LSE and Oxford (Trinity College) as a Marshall Scholar, and an undergraduate degree at Duke as an Angier B Duke Scholar.

Raj authored the 8-volume International Trade Law: A Comprehensive E-Textbook, the world’s leading textbook in the field.

He’s now writing Principles of Law, Literature, and Rhetoric: A Shakespearean Approach.
