David Bursey is a partner with Bennett Jones LLP, a national firm in Canada.  He advises natural resource and infrastructure clients on regulatory approvals, environmental regulation, ESG policy, water resource management, and Indigenous community relations.  He also advises on public utility regulation and other regulated industries such as renewable energy, marine transportation, telecommunications, mining, and forestry. David also previously worked with the federal government – first with the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, and then with the Canadian Energy Regulator.
