Ilona Zekely has more than 30 years of legal experience covering CEE and the CIS regions.
Through the years of her practice, Ilona has become a visible and a well-known figure among the international legal community. Ilona focuses on advising multinational clients in their activities across the CIS & Europe and in keeping up the relationships with international law firms as well as legal and professional communities.
Ilona is a Deputy-Chairman of the Board of the Association of European Businesses (AEB) and is a member of committees and divisions within various international chambers like IBA, IPBA, AmCham etc.
Ilona is highly recognized by Chambers, The Legal 500, IFLR1000 and other legal guides for her work.
She obtained her Master of law degree from Law Faculty at the University of Vienna.
Being a native German speaker, Ilona is also fluent in French, English and has a working knowledge of Russian language.
