Paula is the partner in charge of Mattos Filho New York office and a member of the Corporate/M&A practice area. Her practice focuses on Brazilian and cross-border M&A transactions, inbound investments and commercial contracts involving public and private companies across virtually all industries and business sectors. Paula also advises management bodies and shareholders on corporate regulatory matters. As a member of the firm’s International Committee, she plays a key role in overseeing Mattos Filho’s business development initiatives outside Brazil. Paula is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and is active in forums and specific committees regarding M&A and Latin American business. Paula previously worked as an international associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP’s New York office.
